Indian engineer 'builds' new glaciers to stop global warming

www.telegraph.co.uk : Chewang Norphel, 76, has "built" 12 new glaciers already and is racing to create five more before he dies.

Second Partner Consultation held at Anantapur

The Partner Workshop “Water and Democracy Initiativein South Asia” was held on the 9th and 10th April 2008 in Anantapur. The venue for the workshop was the Accion Fraterna Campus of the Rural Development Trust (RDT). Partner organisations participating in the workshop represented Bangladesh, Pakistan and India. It is unfortunate that partners from Nepal were unable to attend the workshop due to ongoing Assembly Elections.
